The Brudenell - Aldeburgh, United Kingdom 

By far the best feature is the great location, with only a very lighly used small side road between you & the big gravel beach. Sit in your room & listen to the waves ! The hotel was moderately well refurbished a few years ago, so most room facilities are of a reasonable modern standard. Some aspects such as room corridors, are more reminiscent of pre-refurbishment. Communal rooms large & pretty good for sitting / reading / drinking. The bed was very comfortable, & room clean. Certainly a much better room than when we stayed at the Wentworth last year. In general, quite a well run run hotel, & staff OK. Has the potential to be so much better. Can't comment on restaurant since didn't eat there. This was a return visit for us. Its a good option in an area with few choices.

We have just returned from a two night stay and have nothing but praise for the staff and the overall experience. Yes, there were some minor issues like a very small bathroom which was a tad inconvenient, but the room was otherwise fine. Spacious, light and pleasant with fantastic sea view and very comfortable bed. Generous supplies of tea and coffee making things and nice toileteries. Food whilst not outstanding was pleasant and well presented. All the staff we met made every effort to be pleasant and helpful. We will certainly stay there again.
