The building is a credit to the architect. Never have I seen so much skill in making so many from so few, A true example of loophole design in converting a row of old houses into a money making enterprise under the guise of a "Hotel". Its hard to know where to start. Rooms are mostly tiny, some ok, all simple and mostly filled with broken things the website promises. TV's are mini with fuzzy pictures, few with working remotes. Internet only on floor above reception 20 feet each side. The hotel is mostly filthy, no other word to describe, found hairs in my bed, carpet sticky, bathrooms cracked and broken/dirty, blocked this and that. Payment is up front, they come looking if you are late even by hours. Breakfast basic and unchanged in 4 months. The maid service is daily and takes 3-5 minutes each room. TIP: Look under the beds for used condoms, old food and general filth. I lived in this place 3 times, total 4 months,in more than 10 different rooms, on a work contract. I was given no choice as the company paid in advance for a special rate. This place is NOT a hotel, its a more a cheap dirty hostel. Its run by polish and Albanian immigrants, the service reflects this. ESPECIALLY avoid room 58, its on the ground floor next to the reception, the junk room where people leave cases, a broken stinking sewage pipe outside the window and the staff keep sneaking in to use the kettle because theirs is still broken. Utter dump, makes you wonder about the health/safety laws.
