Le Meridien Bruxelles - Brussels, Belgium 

Spent three nights here last weekend. Had a slight hitch with our booking (the hotel couldn't locate it -not sure if this was their error or the error of the company we booked the trip through), but the issue was resolved swiftly, with a smile and without issue. The hotel itself is located a few steps from Grand Place and right in front of Brussels Centraal Station. If it's about location, then this couldn't be better! The rooms are clean and suitably sized for a weekend away and all the usual amenities are provided. Not exactly the standard you would expect for a 5 star hotel, but certainly nothing to complain about. Clean and friendly hotel, knowledgeable staff, wonderful location!

Only stayed here for one night on a business trip so did not get a real feel for the hotel. Basically just checked in at around 6pm after work, went out for the evening, then checked out first thing the next morning. The entrance was very elegant and impressive, and expensive looking. Rooms and bathroom also felt very comfortable and luxurious. Bed was very comfortable, but I am not sure whether that was just because I was tired from the night out. Very convenient location next to the station. Bar was a good place for some quick drinks before heading out to dinner and a club.
