We recently spent five nights at this hotel. We are a mature couple - our room was on the second floor ( 39 steps ) - no lift. We paid extra for air-con - definitely needed it ! Decor extremely 'tired' and left much to be desired. Bathroom and toilet were separate, neither had a window or extractor fan. Breakfast over-priced for what we got, only took breakfast once as a result. No facilities for other meals or drinks at hotel. The only good thing was that the hotel was very clean. Definitely would not recommend hotel - niether would we stay there again. Not value for money !!

The hotel is basic but clean, convenient and very friendly . Other reviewers have mentioned that the hotel is not centra for Bergerac, but it is only a 5 minute walk from the cathedral and the Saturday market, and about 10 minutes from the river
