Hotel Fidder is a nice independant hotel, managed and owned by a family.
Nice hotel with nice rooms, all differently decorated and different style.
The hotel rooms are located in 3 or 4 old town houses, so a lot small stairs, steps etc. Don't expect a lift so not very suitable for people with walking difficulties.
Service is basic but pleasant; but the breakfast is -for Dutch standards- very good. I've even popped in a few times only for breakfast (while not staying their). In summer you can sit in the back garden - lovely place

Would have prefered a location closer to city center instead of at a college campus. Steep steps, very small bath. Dark heavy furniture. Back yard could use some planting.
Excellent breakfast and environment for eating. Candlelight at breakfast time nice touch.
