This hotel is on a busy street near the old Opera House. If you are using the Roissy Bus to transfer from the airport to downtown, this is a good location. I have stayed there twice for this reason. It does have AC and room safes even though the rooms are small...

Lovely place to stay, right in the centre of the city and easy to reach by bus from the Gare du Nord. Reception personnel very helpful, and the room was very clean. Highly recommended.

I stayed 6 nights. Value-priced Haussman-style Hotel very close to the Opera House, several Metro/RER lines and Galleries Lafayette (check out the top of GL for an excellent view of Paris and their cafeteria for a good cup of tea in Paris and value meals). I could walk to Louvre, Champs Elysee, Montmartre. Friendly staff speak English well (heard Spanish and Italian as well) and are very helpful. Room backed onto lift, so a bit noisy at times. Didn't try the continental breakfast but would have liked tea and coffee facilities in the room - even for an extra ?10 per day as that's what it cost me to buy my 4 teas/ day.
