Saint-Christophe - Paris, France

We just had 3 nights at the St Christpohe and loved it. This is our 3rd trip to Paris and this hotel and location was the best so far. Very close to place monge metro, market and shops. Walk to saint germaine, pantheon. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The room were ok size for Paris, a little dated but clean and a good bathroom. My only concern was that the rooms were a little hot - they do provide a fan though. When we were there it was nice weather but not all that hot, so I am not sure if we would have enjoyed our stay so much if it had have been over 25 degrees. Apart from that though it is a great hotel and you will struggle to find better value in Paris. We will be back!

Great little hotel

Our party of three stayed here for two nights in June, and were very pleased. The location is good, within three blocks of Rue Mouffetard with many restaurants specializing in raclettes and fondues. We highly recommend the reasonably priced and charming Restaurant Assiette aux Fromages, which has a garden patio in the back. The hotel was also a 10-minute walk to Rue St. Michel and the Latin Quarter with its numerous cafes, and 15 minutes to Notre Dame. The staff were very helpful, especially finding us a private shutter service when we learned of a possible strike that could have prevented us from getting to the airport in time the next morning. It was a treat to have free internet access in the lobby. Our room was fine, with no problems. My mother's room next door to us, with extra windows and a newer bathroom, was very nice. The value was excellent and we would not hesitate to recommend Saint Christophe to others.
