among the 4rooms, mine is the smallest but still acceptable. regret that we cannot stay on the same floor together, althought there is lift available but it is not reaach to 6th floor and you need to move your luggages yrself.

access to Metro was good. neighborhood not to good but everyone minds there own business. front desk staff very nice.

I read the reviews on this site about la liege before i left, and was therefore quite worried about staying there.i took on board the advice and took my own towels etc. when we arrived the entrance was clean, the service was friendly. we were told that the hotel was full even though we had booked and they directed us to their other building about ten doors down. i was worried when i heard this and thought that it may be some sort of a scam. we arrived at the other hotel..the little regina.it was smaller and situated two doors down from a sex shop. the staff were helpful and spoke great english. we were shown to our room which was absolutley fine. it was really big, clean, front facing with a brand new bathroom, plenty of towels! the room was quiet at night despite being on a busy main road, the shower was brilliant, really powerful. there was nothing wrong with this hotel, and for a ywo star, at the price i paid for central paris, i couldn't have asked for more. if you want luxery, you pay for luxery, but for me, this hotel was exactley what i wanted. its in agreat location, with plenty of metro stops, within walking distance of the pompidou, notre dame, the louvre. the area is not dodgy, there are alot of hairdressers, but i never felt uncomfortable in that area, which for a twenty year old girl, that is quite good. the area is as bad as any city centre, i'm not saying it's perfect, i wouldn't have gone out alone at night, i always kept a good hold of my bag and i didnt talk to anyone. if you are visiting this hotel, then don't worry...you won't get luxery, but you get more than you pay for.

Cet hôtel est très vieux et se trouve dans un quartier de Paris qui n'est pas terrible, bien que pratique pour se rendre dans les deux gares principales. Les lits sont extrêmement inconfortables et la salle de bains était mal équipée : il y avait une douche dans la baignoire mais aucun endroit où attacher le pommeau de la douche pendant que vous vouliez vous doucher. Il n’y avait pas de rideau de douche ou de porte et on mettait de l’eau partout sur le sol. Les serviettes étaient toutes petites et il n’y en avait que deux pour deux personnes. Au petit déjeuner, on vous offrait seulement un petit pain, un croissant, un petit pot de confiture et une tasse de café ou de thé. Le personnel n’avait pas du tout envie de vous servir, on voyait bien que c’était un effort pour eux. Je vous conseille de payer quelques euros de plus et de descendre dans un hôtel décent. Evitez celui-ci !
