Inter-Hotel Prony - Paris, France     

the hotel was very clean, the staff were very friendly and the hotel had a great location. the hotel breakfast was excellent and the manager made us whatever we wanted to drink!!!

I stayed here last year as a present from my boyfriend for my 21st birthday. i loved this place!! I know this review is being posted late but after reading the negative reviews on the site i thought I'd let everyone know of my experience. Ok, first things first, good things about the hotel. the style of the hotel is so quaint! its very unique and clean. the reception is most helpful, we had the same receptionist most of the time throughout our stay and he was so helpful. the metro stop is literally at the doorstep of the hotel giving you easy access to all of paris. we found it a pleasent 30 minute stroll to the arc de triomphe after which we continued walking down the champs elysee to the louvre all in all taking us about 2 hours 30 (I kept pulling my fella into all the high street shops and to a lovely little patissiere for lunch) ok its not the shortest trip but the sights on foot were most pleasent as opposed to looking at dark metro stations. there was plenty of life around the area, i loved the two balconies with french windows looking out over the place below and the entire city. it was a beautiful way to wake up. the linen was always clean and the room tidied. the hotel also allowed us to leave our baggage with them on our final day after check out which was most helpful as our eurostar train was not until late that evening. also went into the best pizzaria next door to the hotel! absolutely fantastic! gorgeous food, great wine, ice cold water what more cud u want?! the hotel breakfast was included in our stay and was fantastic, hot drinks fruit juices lots of pastries very continental and if u like a cooked breakfast definately not for you but i prefer a continental style and while in paris do as the parisians do!! ok a few bad points, the hotel could have done with a little refurbishment but this was only a minor point as the hotel was very clean in spite of this just a little shabby. it was quite a way from the gare du nord however as the metro was so close to the hotel not so much of an issue. as others have mentioned the lack of a price list in the mini bar was an issue alongside the porn channel which was extremely unexpected. all in all i adored this hotel, and am hoping to go back again in the new year to explore paris a little more.
