Hotel De Sevres - Paris, France     

My husband and I spent three nights at the Hotel de Sevres, and found it to be in a wonderful location for exploring the Left Bank. Although there were few reviews on Trip Advisor, we decided to take the chance. This is an unpretentious hotel, on a quiet street, with a friendly staff. We stayed on the third floor, which appeared to be a renovated floor, and enjoyed our room. It was small, like many hotel rooms in Europe, but was nicely furnished, with an excellent bed, and new fixtures in the bathroom. The lobby area is small, but the breakfast area is quite nice, with good service. We would recommend this hotel to those who do not expect luxury, and want good value for the money. We would stay there again.

I stayed at the Hotel de Sevres in May 2007 and loved the hotel. I had a renovated room - room 42 and thought it was fabulous. Good size and nice neutral coloured room - very modern. Fantastic bathroom with great water pressure in the shower. Staff were really friendly and helpful and its in a sensational position. For a two star hotel it really exceeded my expectations and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone and can't wait to go back. Just make sure you specify you want a renovated room.
