In your description the hotel offered free WIFI internet connection. This was only available on the ground floor with only 1 electricity outlet. Bathroom was very old and dingy. Room was in a quiet location but the noise of other guests entering and leaving their rooms, cold be heard through the thin walls and doors. Breakfast was not included in the price and I was charged Euro 8 per day for coffee, 1 small bread roll and 1 croissant, jam and cream cheese. Every day was the same poor in quantity and quality breakfast.
Staff was surly. Rooms were filthy; smelled; poorly lit stairway to the room. Hotel uses motion sensor lights so that you have to feel your way up the stairs and have to be almost at the top of the stairway before the light comes on and even then it is low wattage. The same for the hallway into the rooms. Door to the room looked as if it had been broken into with the wood missing around the lock. The door rattled when people in the neighbouring room went into their room. Rooms were not soundproof in the least. View outside the window was of the air conditioning unit. We did not feel safe in the room at all. Bathroom had mould around fixtures and in the corners. Smelled mouldy and could definitely use an upgrade or, at the very least, an extremely thorough and extensive cleaning.
Although the room was spacious enough,it seemed that the walls were made of cardboard. We could hear other guests coming and going; doors slamming; people moving around in the room above and so on!! One group woke us up in the middle of the night with their laughter and knocking into walls. 'not happy Jan'
