Just returned from a 3 night stay and would recommend this hotel for a good value 3 star hotel. The rooms and bathrooom are very clean and the breakfast is excellent with cooked English as well as continental. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The only drawback is that they do not do food and there are very few restuarants around. A big plus is that it is very quiet at night both in the hotel and outside. The metro stop is only 5 minutes away and although it is a bit out of the centre the metro is so good and cheap that a longer ride does not matter.

We stayed for 4 nights at the beginning of May. We arrived at 11pm, thirsty and hungry. We knew there was no restaurant on site but we asked if we could have a drink at the bar only to be told that it was shut for the night. The following day, after a full day in Paris we returned to the hotel at 6.30pm, again thirsty and asked for a drink and was told the bar was not open as the barman was sick and nobody else could open it! Same scenario for Sat night but was also told that the bar does not open on a weekend. There was also nowhere local to go for a drink or food. Buffet breakfast was ok but was told when we checked out that breakfast wasn't included in the price and that it was 12 euros each. This problem is with the booking company and not the hotel but the breakfast was not worth 12 euros. The only positive was that the rooms were very clean and the bathrooms looked as though they had been refurbished. The night receptionist, David was very helpful. Rooms were ok but rubber or plastic covers on the mattresses were uncomfortable. Overall, wouldn't stay there again but then you get what you pay for!!
