I stayed in this hotel with my husband for 4 nights in Septemember this year.
I really struggled on how to rate this hotel. This hotel is certainly in an excellent location right on the port. The property is nice and quite modern. The room was simple but quite modern comfortable and it had a huge terrace overlooking the port. I was initially very happy and had high hopes for our stay.
Unlike the service that others in previous reviews have written about we experienced the worst service that we have ever experienced at any hotel anywhere in the world. At no time did any of the reception staff even manage to muster a smile let alone provide any assistance even when we asked for it.
It may have been a string of bad luck but here are things that went wrong:
- we asked for addional or different pillows as the ones in the room were very hard and flat and we did not receive any.
- the room information provided said that we could ask at reception for some tea and coffee making facilities to be provided and they would be if they were available. So I went down to reception and was grudging told they would be suplied "if available". We did not receive any.
-worst of all we had a medical emergency at midnight and the room information said to dial "50". I did so any no one picked up. This meant I had to go running through the hotel down to reception only to find no one there. After finally locating someone I had to ask him 3 times to call an ambulance before he did so.
This is clearly not good enough for a 4 star hotel. So to summarise, for location and the terrace I'd rate this a 5 . For service it would not even get 1 on my scale.

Perfect location, and breathtaking views from our own balcony! Staff were extremely helpful and friendly at all times. Definitely going back!
