The owner of this hotel is not fit to run a bath! Small hotel run by about 4 people (Fawlty Towers comes to mind) At 6pm one evening I asked for some hot water to fill a glasss and was told "NO! the bar is closed, it is not possible". "This is hot water we are talking about and you are a hotel"? "Yes but only a 3 star hotel said the owner".
Remaining calm and relaxed I explained "1,2 or 3 stars hot water should not be a problem"? The owner, a very obnoxious man who kept reminding me that he owned the hotel was rude, slammed his hand down on the bar and then proceeded to offer me outside his hotel for "fight" just because I insisted for a second time of asking.
I never met a more fould mouthed person in my life and when I walked away, slammed the door behind me swearing and cursing at me
Stay here at your peril! This ia a 'laughable effort of a hotel!!!!!!!!!!

Hotel is located in between the Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge. Great location, though it is a bit difficult to find as there are no real good maps of Venice's tiny alleyways.
Hotel was nice, small, but well-kept. The room had a lovely view of all Venice's house tops - which I actually loved. Although the breakfast room downstairs is small, they bring room service for those guests who don't want to deal with the cramped quarters. Room Service was very prompt and was a substantial continental breakfast.
The reception of the hotel was a bit rude - eg. I called to advise them I was a bit lost and they were not very helpful and did not provide me any tips whatsoever. They had a very hands off approach.
