Qubus Hotel Kielce - Kielce, Poland 

To say it right up front, one could hardly find anything better within a 50 mile radius of Kielce than the 2-year old Qubus Hotel. This new 4-story hotel with elevator and secure on-site parking is a great night stop for the road wary driver. It offers 90 modern rooms and suites, restaurant/bar, room service, fitness center,and conference facilities, all in the city center within a block of the pedestrian only Ul. Sienkiewicza with lots of shops and restaurants. Lovers of good Italian food will find it there at #57 in the Ristorante Bravo. We requested and received from the friendly, English speaking front desk staff a room to the back, facing the parking lot. It proved very quiet, and double paned windows ensured traffic noise did not intrude. Barely two years old, everything seemed brand new and spotless including the light colored carpet in our room. Besides very comfortable beds, the room had A/C, a writing desk, phone, flat screen TV with English, German, and Italian channels, mini bar, iron and ironing board, and in room high speed WI-Fi Internet connection. Valuables could be stored in the safe at the front desk. The bath as well was super modern and spotless with fluffy, soft towels. and well lit. A great breakfast spread in the morning rounded out our stay at this super hotel. The walk-in rate of 434 Zloty, approx. $ 195 was a deal with what is offered when compared with other hotels in Poland in the same price range. Should we ever get near Kielce again, we certainly will stay at the Qubus Hotel again.
