We wound up staying an extra night because the room, accommodations, and FOOD were excellent. Honestly, we were a little nervous when the bill came at the end of our stay because we kept dining at the hotel, but we were oh-so-pleasantly surprised by what a deal the whole thing was! I wish I knew more people going to Turkey so that I could recommend Melrose!

This hotel is absolutely fabulous. The LP Guide says that this hotel is owned by a German family, but this is not true - it is owned by a Turkish family, and anyone who stays here will experience true Turkish hospitality. Mehmet, Ummu and their two daughters, were the most amazing hosts. I felt as if I was staying with friends - nothing was too much trouble and they did everything they could to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
My room was very comfortable, and nicely decorated. The room had tea and coffee making facilities which is so rare in Turkish hotels. It also has a small bar, with really reasonable prices. If you feel like lazing around, there are tree houses you can sit in, or your choice of tables to sit at around the premises. The hotel has a wonderful, relaxed vibe - so much so that I didn't want to leave the hotel grounds. It was so restful, I could easily have stayed there for a week without leaving the hotel.
The hotel is in a great location, and Mehmet and Ummu were great in helping to organise anything I needed outside the hotel.
The food was absolutely incredible - I have lived in Turkey for nearly two years, and honestly the food at the Melrose was the best I have eaten anywhere. And the prices were excellent. I didn't eat anywhere but the hotel during my visit.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Pamukkale.
