Lack of atmosphere

Business hotel in the centre of Metz, right in the middle of the pedestrian shopping area. Nice hotel but not with very much atmosphere. Stayed five nights in a superior room that was spacious and well equipped. Breakfast was good, an extra plus for the possibility to have breakfast served in the room. Some of the rooms were being renovated and this caused quite a lot of noise. I was awakened every morning of drilling and hammering. Very very loud :-(

I stayed in this hotel for 1 night. Reception: Friendly and efficient. Room: I stayed in one of the older rooms. Friends stayed in a newly renovated room and theirs was much nicer. I would recommend you insist on one of the newer rooms if possible. Pool: There is an outdoor pool next to the restaurant. I didn`,t use it but if you staying in the city centre during the summer it would be a nice resource. Location: The hotel is ideally located to explore Metz and you can make use of the underground carpark in the adjoining shopping centre. It costs 8 Euro for 24 hours. Overall: It is a standard Novotel (assuming you get one of the new rooms)
