Elysée Park Hotel does NOT deserve a 3 star rating! I'd give it a one star! Dirty, dusty and small rooms. No curtains in a bathroom makes it wet every time you shower! Cause it gets wet all the times there is mold buit-up in a bathroom! Dirty carpets, room carpet is in a worst condition than in a hall! However the location is very good!

Spaciousness of rooms was in line with our expectations as a lot of hotels are compact but perfectly adequate. The hotel was superbly located and very good value for money. Ask where the nearest bike for hire location is at reception as it is a great way to explore Paris. PAUL's cafe chain is highly recommended. Reception Staff were always friendly and helpful.

Hotel was OK, very clean and friendly staff but not exactly what we were expecting as photos were misleading however it served it's purpose and the location was great.

Even on the street side the room was calm. Ideal location in Paris for tourism. The only negative point is the size of the room and bathroom.

I wouldn't rave about this place - except for it's location. You could walk practically anywhere - and we did. I'ts a very short distance form the Champs-Elysee where it all happens. 15 minute walk through the Tulieries Gardens to the Louvre and maybe a 20-30 minute walk in the opposite direction along the river to the Eiffel Tower. Everything was at your fingertips, and even though the Champs-Elysee is at the end of the street, in the opposite direction, there are so many cafes, patissieries, bars, shops and not-so-well known art galleries tucked away in the streets. It was fantastic in this respect. The room - not so great. It was very small - very dark - and the walls were soft!! Yes, soft!! They were a spongy fabric rather than hardboard. I guess it made it warmer but cringed at the thought of the moisture and bacteria they might be soaking up. I made sure I wore my shoes all the time as I honestly did NOT want to put my feet directly onto the carpet. The hotel had a small spiral staircase and an elevator big enough for one. It actually more resembled a cupboard. The breakfast room was in the basement with no natural light, but at least the coffee and croissants were fresh. The bathroom was clean, marble but very cramped. It was more like a hallway with no room to swing the proverbial cat !! Not sure if I would choose it again. It was staffed 24 hours and everyone could speak English which was helpful.
