wir waren heuer 4 ganze tage in paris. normalerweise haben wir unser "stamm"hotel. diesmal wollten wir ein anderes hotel ausprobieren. für ein 2* hotel sieht der eingangsbereich seehr hübsch aus. auch auf der website waren die standard-zimmer in ordentlichem zustand. wir hatten ein standard-zimmer im 6. stock - möbel im 70s/80s style. das einzig gute an diesem zimmer: wir hatten eine kleine terrasse. das einzig kuriose: der aufzug. im zimmer hat es abgestanden und modrig gerochen. das bad war ohne lüftung und ohne fenster. und es hat definitiv nach schimmel gerochen. das beste war: wir mussten vor halb 9 duschen, weil sonst gab es kein warmes wasser. der wasserdruck in der dusche war auch alles andere als stark. einmal musste ich sogar kalt duschen. wir haben im durchschnitt EUR 115 bezahlt, und das war definitiv zu viel, trotz der guten lage. das frühstück war auch zu teuer für das, was angeboten wurde: ein halbes baguette (und damit meine ich nur die hälfte von der hälfte) und ein pain au chocolat. ein heißgetränk und ein orangensaft. punkt! und das ganze für heiße 10 EUR! de trop! ich werde dort bestimmt nicht mehr wohnen!!!

No Hot Water

Made the reservation 2 weeks before I stayed there. Arrived at hotel and was given a room on the ground floor. Was a female traveling alone so I asked if they had any other room on another floor. They said no because they were fully booked. Room had window that opened up to the street and had no bars on windows. The window locked fine but I didnt sleep well knowing the window opened up right onto the street. In the morning there was NO hot water. The reception expalined that they were working on it and to wait. I waited about 10 minutes and then went back to e. They expalined that with everyone trying to shower at once that that was causing me to not have hot water. I had a meeting so I couldnt wait until everyone finished so I just bucked up and took a freezing cold shower. When I checked out I expalined that I thought it was ridiculous to pay 140€ for the room being that I didnt have hot water. He took off 10€ but would not go lower. I aksed for a compalint form. He siad they didnt have any. So he gave me a blank piece of paper to write my compamint on. I do not expect to be compensated. It was a rip off to stay at this hotel that I now call Hotel Marginal!
