We stayed here just for one night as a stopover after arriving at Gare du Nord late and then hiring a car to leave Paris the next morning.
When we got there the gentleman on reception gave us our key and showed us our room which was in a different building at the back of the hotel. When we got to our room the key did not work and we could hear the television blaring. We had to return to the main building where he gave us a key to a room in the main hotel building.
This room was very hot but unfortunately very noisy if you opened the window.
The bed was uncomfortable. The shower flooded the bathroom as the shower curtain was not long enough and therefore the room was a bit damp. The room was also very dark as it was painted blue and not all the lights worked.
When we came to leave we needed to use the internet but we were informed it was not working.
I would not recommend this hotel.
Normal Hotel. I was booked a Twin room and i have a triple. The breakfaste is normal. The hotel is nearest from Gare du Nord (3 min walk), and bus station (- 1 min walk), and metro station (4 min (walk). Very good staff. I will be back.
Located near the Gare Nord thereofre well connected to all of central Paris and a walk from Sacre Coeur. A bus (42 I think) from outside the hotel takes you straight to trocedero / Eiffel Tower. The staff at the reception are fairly helpful. the rooms are small like most paris hotels but very neat and clean for a 2 star property. there is no ACs or fans so summers can be quite uncomfortable. Out of the 6 nights we spent the lift was not working for 5 days. given the age of the lift I imagine it remain dis-functional most of the time. breakfast is typical cold mix of buns, croissants, preserves, juice and flakes. nothing cooked. Nothing much to do in the immediate vicinity and therefore best used to just return to sleep after a full day of sightseeing. we were a family of 4 with 2 kids and room 407 that has 2 small rooms together suited us fine.
