The hotel is in a quiet, safe and affluent feeling area but close to lively restaurant areas, the Seine, Musee d'Orsay etc. The room was a good size by UK standards, well designed, warm and very clean with TV. A basic bathroom, but again it was clean and had all you need in it and the shower was powerful. There is pub style cafe (Le Whitney) nearby where a good range of wines is served.

Perfect location (close to the Notre Dame, Jardin du Luxembourg and the Blv St.Germain) with very pleasant staff people. A lot of cafés and the Odeon metro station in the neighborhood. Clean rooms and decent bathrooms.

Very good value for money. Breakfast was a bit overpriced at €10 but you do get freshly made coffee and freshly-squeezed orange juice. The staff were all very polite and competent. I can't really fault it at all.
