Two friends living in another country and I had a small reunion at this small hotel in the heart of the Latin Quarter. They stayed in a double and I had a single. They were excellent by Paris standards with the bathroom as big as my single. The windows were soundproofed and even though the street is generally quiet anyway, with the windows closed, the silence was complete. The room had a TV with CNN and BBC and The Bold and the Beautiful in French. It was cleaned every day and the towels unnecessarily replaced daily. The only minus was that adjoining bathrooms had very thin walls and you could hear the showers and flushing. My room was on the 5th floor at the end of the corridor so I did not hear other rooms. The staff was excellent with perfect English. Not only did they recommend places, they also talked about life in France. We were walking distance to all the sights and restaurants and the Latin Quarter. We ate mostly in local restaurants with locals. Breakfast was at the very friendly cafe Danton and we had many dinners at the Les Racines on rue Monsieur le Prince, a small place full of locals. One of the best restaurants in Paris was right down the street. Sorry, I don't remember the name, look for the line outside! They spoke English everywhere!

I stayed in this hotel for a business trip for one night. the room was small but the area was fantastic and so convenient. I liked the fact that everything that was done was done well. Breakfast was simple but nice just bread and croissants but nice bread and croissants. The bathroom was small but very well stocked with tolietries. The location is great you walk out the door and hit restaurants across the road you are beside the jardin de luxembourg and on a direct line to the airport
