Avenir Hotel Montmartre - Paris, France

The hotel is very well situated, 1 minute far from the tube, 10 minutes far from the romantic Montmartre area and a lot of supermarkets and bakeries (France it's expensive for young couples!). However, the hotel it's a bit old and our bedroom was quite small. We have stayed at the "double panoramic room" in the 6th floor, it has an awesome view!! but it smelled like dirty socks and we had to open the windows every time that we arrived to the room... The 3rd day, they forgot put on the bathroom any shower gel.. To sum up, we think that we would return to this hotel if we haven't so much money and we want to spend there a few romantic days :)

Keeping in mind the very low rates charged, this hotel is a find. My room was very small with limited closet space and no dresser, BUT a fabuous view of Sacre Coeur. The bed was firm;fresh, good quality towel daily. Room and bath kept very clean. Adequate lighting. Breakfast served in lobby or in room and was good value at 6 euro. Staff tried to be helpful but at times (understandably) a bit stressed. Computer terminal available in the lobby at 1 Euro per half hour. All in all a very very good no frill hotel highly recommended for the budget traveller

It isn't the Ritz but reception staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean. Some redecoration is needed and noise could be heard from the other rooms but the view of Sacre Coeur from our window more than made up for that. We had a great time and would recommend the hotel.

Absolutly correct hotel in one of the nicest parts of Paris! Spectacular view on Sacre Coeur!

vicinissimo a montemartre e pigalle, vicinissimo alla fermata della metro,bagno molto piccolo,buon rapporto qualità/prezzo,pulito,personale gentile,dalla camera bella vista sul sacro cuore..adatto a chi non pretende molto e vuole trascorrere qualche giorno a parigi senza spendere troppo
