Hotel Nicolo - Paris, France     

Catherine was charming and helpful, friendly with a great sense of humor. She helped us with reservations and is an absolute gem! Everyone on the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great, and the little garden in the entryway is delightful. The room and bathroom were nice-sized and spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend the Nocolo.

Sixth visit to Paris after living there for several years. I have been looking for a very nice, affordable hotel in the 16th Arrond. Tried Hameau Passy, but rooms were too small and staff was unfriendly. Nice price though. I have also tried Montparnesse area, but Hotel Nicolo is best one yet. Traveled with Wife and nine year old son. Had suite for five nights. I was actually surprised when I came into the room. It was perfectly clean and SPACIOUS. Two twins made into a king and the kid got a comfortable twin pull out (they had two pull out twins that they made out of larger chairs). Bathroom was standard fare. My only complaint was they were a little skimpy on the soap, but I made due. The front staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel had parking where we stored our rental during our time in Paris. Hotel was reasonably close to Passy metro stop (two stops from Etoile). Very close to Monet's museum. A little skimpy on eating places. Great for shopping (a real mall is right out the front door and down a bit). MacDonalds was within walking distance as was the eiffel tower. This is a place for those who know Paris and are comfortable in the 'burbs. Our room was on the third floor. The way the hotel is configured, you will need to do some lifting of bags here and there, so this is not a good choice for handicapped or very elderly. Wow - it was perfect for mom, dad and kid. Not great for more than one child as it would probably disturb others in this quiet area. We paid 199 Euro a night which I thought was a very good rate for a very good location and service. Safe neighborhood for late evenings out. Great for a honeymoon couple as they really leave you to sleep in -- which we did too much of. Seemed to have 24 hour service, though we didn't come in too late. Very professionally run. Good job Hotel Nicolo. You make us travelers feel at home!
