Hotel Saint Dominique - Paris, France     

Hotel Saint Dominique is a wonderful little gem that is nestled between Les Invalides and the Eifel Tower on the Left Bank on Rue Saint Dominique. Our room faced a quiet little courtyard. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. Plenty of hot water and lots of elbow room for something priced so reasonably. We never had any of the breakfasts there as we were out and about, but the dining room was adorable and quaint. Every afternoon we came back for a quiet nap. At night after dinner, we would come back to the hotel and have a nightcap in one of the cafes on the street and watch the Eiffel Tower do it's nightly light show. Spectacular!Honestly, the location and the price makes this Hotel something to consider. My husband who is 6'6" has stayed there twice. We will return.

Adorable hotel with friendly hotel staff, nice modest courtyard area. We stayed in Room 33, which was in a back alley area.. it was clean, safe and quiet, but alas no views of anything but the walls across the path. Very quiet, so quiet we could hear our neighbor clearing his throat, and the room was circa 1930. We had booked late, and were in Paris just for an extended wknd for the Paris Marathon, and are low maintenance, so it was fine, and I'm sure a room facing the courtyard or street would be nice..
