Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in September 06. Very tasteful, great location. Not full service in terms of lack of restaurant but hey if you're in Paris there's no shortage of decent places to eat or go and get breakfast. Very busy Alsace restaurant just over road (which I think was featured in the recent film "2 days in Paris" by the super talented Julie Delpy). Only downside was trying to find the room once you've got in through the front door cos there is no reception as such. E-mailed them afterwards and the hotel said they would provide better instruxctions next time.

We've just spent 2 nights at the Residence. We arrived around 11am, and the apartment was ready for us, despite an official 3pm check in. We had a 1 bedroom suite, which consisted of a bedroom, living room/kitchen and a separate WC and shower room. Everything was very modern and clean, and actually looked like the pictures on the website which is always a nice surprise. My daughter loved the hot pink sofa. The towels were soft and fluffy and there were some nice toiletries and slippers supplied. The shower was powerful. No bathrobes though which would have been a nice touch. They cleaned the rooms each day and topped up the supplies of tea/coffee and dishwasher tabs. They left a tablet for the washing machine, though we never used that and there was even a hoover - remained untouched by me! The living room overlooked a sunny courtyard and it was lovely to have the floor to ceiling windows open on a summer day. A few niggles - it smelt quite stuffy when we arrived, though we hadn't specified non-smoking. There was no lead between the TV and the DVD player which was a bit of a pain. The "queen" size bed was tiny - really short. We decided to let my daughter sleep in there, and took the sofa bed, which was actually really comfortable. The office is only open part time over the weekend, so there's not really anyone there to answer queries - didn't cause us a problem, but if you;re used to full hotel service....They offer to deliver breakfast for 10 euros a head, but we didn't bother. It was only a few minutes walk to the Boulevard St Germain and the Jardins du Luxembourg and there were plenty of shops and cafes, including a handy grocers across the road. We thought it was reasonably priced for the facilities and space, and I'd love to be able to afford to keep a little place just like it for future visits.
