Room was EXTREMELY SMALL, not much larger than the bed itself and with the floor sloping about 10cm across the with of the room - the shower door, of a very small shower, could only be opened to about 1/2 metre making getting in and out of the shower very challenging. The elevator was less than one metre in depth from front to back allowing for only one person and one suitcase at a time. Although the location is quite good - the Hotel definitely had it's challenges. On the very positive - the personel managing the Front Desk were EXCEPTIONAL!

Listen up! After being scared by all the criticism to even check into this two star hotel i was more than pleasantly surprised to find everything was totally FINE!!! i spent 65euros for a double room and it was perfect value for money. room was on 4th floor facing street and it was perfectly fine noisewise, size of room, bathroom, cleanliness etc etc. YES, the lift is tiny... so NO, dont go with big suitcases. Yes, this is not for a family holiday... people get a grip, this is paris and for 65euros it is perfectly fine. i wonder what amazing deals you apparently expect for that little amount of money. Families with cildren, eldery.... pls chose something else and spend more money, for the light traveller is a good choice!

good price and a central location but a place to have sadness indeed! Just for a night.

HOTEL RIVE GOUCHE,A VERY POOR HOTEL IN A TERIBLY NOISY AREA. ROOM CONDITIONS WERE THE WORST EVER ENCOUNTERED IN ALL OF OUR TRAVELS TO EUROPE (12 YEARS). WE THOUGHT WE WERE BOOKING THE "EIFFEL RIVE GOUCHE" WHICH IS THE SAME PRICE, BUT A TRUE VALUE FOR PARIS. THE RIVE GOUCHE IS A DUMP, POORLY TRAINED STAFF, AND CONSTANT NOISE FROM THE STREET. AVOID IT !!!!!!
