Ideal Hotel Design - Paris, France

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. The hotel is ideally located just a few steps away from Metro and Bus terminus. Hotel staff were very friendly, though they speak very little English. breakfast is basic + Just a few steps to Metro and Bus terminus + Restaurants, shopping areas nearby + Larger comfortable rooms compared to other hotels in Paris - Not located very close to the city centre. Final destination of Metro 4

After spending a very noisy 2 weeks in Nice and Rome, we were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It was clean for one thing, having obviously just been renovated and painted, and the lobby was still under construction. We asked for and got a top floor room, so it was pretty quiet. I would suggest if they want to keep it as pristine as it is now, that they should NOT ALLOW SMOKING. But hey, it's Europe, so what else is new? A few caveats: it's meant for little people!!! E.g., the shower is ridiculously small. It would be so easy to bump the control to HOT and scald yourself. Towel bars are nonexistent (except under the sink???) The elevator is pint-sized, too. There are NO hooks to hang anything, and we had a grand total of 2 coat hangers in the closet. One day we returned from sightseeing and the door was open...Seems the maid forgot to close, let alone lock it!!! The hotel is literally just off the Metro, (no need to even cross the street) so it's a very convenient location.
