We stayed at the Prelude for four nights on a backpacking trip through europe. Although paris hotels are expensive, I was expecting something a little bit better for $120 a night.
The room was very shabby. Dings and scratches on the walls, and wallpaper pealing off. The room was very small, but I guess that's just europe.
Wifi was free, but was very unreliable. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't.
Maidservice woke us up every morning (even opened the door!) at 9am, even though we had the "do not disturb" sign on the door.
On the upside....there were no bedbugs and we didn't have anything stolen, which seemed to be the norm with budget accommodations in Paris. Unless I could somehow find a cheaper place to stay, that wasn't condemned, I'd stay here again.
