Hotel was in a semi red light district which has various sex shops all around. It is on a pedestrian street with a lot of bars, so the noise level on the weekends was horrific. Ear plugs, wine, and Benadryl were not enough to soften the noise. We left the hotel at 6:45am Sunday to meet up with a tour group and the drunks were still out – very intimidating for 2 women walking in the dark. The location was great for metro usage and the area was close to main attractions. The room was typical European - nothing fancy, but was clean and towels were changed daily. The hotels website said they did not offer internet, so I brought my lap top in hopes of finding a caf? that offered free Wi-Fi. There was access to a free Wi-Fi signal in the room, which was an unexpected surprise. We thought the hotel was ok, but due to the street it is on, we would not stay here again.
