Vaneau Saint Germain Hotel's room was fair size, it was clean, the one electrical socket on room 306 was hanging of the wall, which I thought was a bit dangerous, especially if there were children around. The room was cleaned and fresh towels provided every day. There was a great supermarket and two restaurant next to the hotel. The chines restaurant across the road was also very nice. The hotel is very central 20 min walk to eiffel tower, 1 min walk to nearest metro station. Ogilvy, Reykjavik

Very nice and clean hotel in a beautiful building and located in a great area : St.Germain de Pres.

I liked very much the hotel in terms of room (not only spacious but also the decoration and cleanliness)but the restaurant was very small and together with the reception desk. The service was fine and the location, perfect. You can walk to the main attractions. Very close to Boulevard St Germain.

was presently surprised that the rooms were as big and nice as they were. Great location, had given us the rooms we required and were helpful. staff helpful and spoke some english. Would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was expensive but very good. good bedding which is important to us.

The hotel is advertised as having air conditioning and it is broken until at least August 2008 and since the windows don't have screens and the corner is fairly loud, I couldn't keep the windows open. The bathroom needed painting and it just seemed that the photos and location of the hotel were misleading. The rooms looked new, but they are dated. The location seemed to be right in the heart of Saint Germain des Pres but it was quite a walk to the heart of the action. I had also requested a room with 2 beds, but they didn't reserve that for me. Thankfully my friend had another place to stay.
