Best Western Champs Elysees - Paris, France     

We booked this hotel as part of a package before we checked this site. We were obviously quite worried after reading the current reviews. There was no need to be and I want to assure people that our stay here was thoroughly pleasant. The staff are efficient and friendly. The hotel is clean and the beds were DIVINE. I will accept that the rooms are small but that is Paris!. Location is the best and I will not hesitate to return on that alone.

I booked to stay at this hotel as part of a surprise trip to Paris for my husband's birthday. After booking this hotel as part of a package, I then read reviews on this site. Quite frankly I was very worried after reading some of the terrible things some people had written. However, I need not of worried. When we arrived we were helped with our luggage to a very nice room overlooking the garden, yes it was smaller than the average hotel room but very clean & extremely comfortable, the bathroom was small but my husband is six foot tall & didnt have a problem & the shower is excellent. The hotel is very well situated being only 5 minutes walk from the Arc-de-Triomphe & around 15 minutes from the Eiffel Tower. We had an excellent stay. This hotel is perfect if you are wanting somewhere central, clean & comfortable it was perfect for our needs as we intended to visit as much of Paris as our time there allowed. I felt I must add this review to assure anyone intending to stay that in my opinion it is no where near as bad as some would lead you to believe.
