The location of the hotel is quite remote, though safe. Police often round the area and we actually saw how quick the police surround 2 suspects in a matter of seconds. Convenient store is around the corner, with some restaurants for you to choose. Room is smelly although we requested non smoking room. We can see a lot of cigarette butts on the balcony's flower pot. Very dirty and unpleasant to sit nearby the window to enjoy fresh air. You can breathe in the cigarette smell. Even our jackets smell after been staying there for a week. Yucks. Front desk officers are impolite, and the bell boy was terrible. No greetings when we enter the hotel. No "bonjour" or "bonsoir"! Whatever happened to french gentleman?? Bell boy dragged our luggages in a rough manner. The hotel is quite far from tourist spots, and the nearest is Arc de Tromph. Be prepared to bring along the hotel address as not many taxi drivers know where is the location.

many positives about this hotel.
Location: Location is not in the city centre (hence the cheaper price!), and the location is more residential. but its still near enough to the attractions. A Metro stop is round the corner and its only a 15 minute walk and your at the Arc de Triumphe. Due to the residential location it is very quite at night, no loud noises at all, didnt see anyone at all on the Saturday night! If you come out of the hotel turn right and walk to the roundabout there are cafe's and restaurants. I would recommend the Petit Bofinger for a very enjoyable meal. Make sure you get a window seat and marvel at the way Parisian motorists negotiate roundabouts!
Our room was fine. Nothing amazing and a bit small, but was clean and had everything we needed. It wasnt an expensive hotel and you dont spend much time in your hotel in Paris so was perfectly fine for us. However, if its not included i probably wouldnt go for the breakfast. Its ok, but at 15 Euros its a bit expensive. you can go round the corner to a cafe and get a croissant, french bread and jam, orange juice and coffee for only 8 Euros.
Reception staff are also very friendly. I would definatley recommend this hotel
