3As a Christmas present I took my partner to Paris from the 3rd-5th of January. The staff upon arrival were genuinely unpleasant, insincere and most disappointingly inhospitable. We waited an hour before being told our room would not be available for yet another hour, this was explained without regret or apology. We left our luggage to explore the area, and to distract myself from my increasing dicontent with the service so far.
We returned a few hours later thinking the situation could only improve. Only to discover the room we had waited for was dismal; an irregular shape, small, dark, browning in the corners, with a view of a derelict courtyard and fire escape. We were offered another room on the 1st floor but were greeted with an unprepared room with the previous guest's rubbish, the only improvement being a glorious view of the Eiffel tower. We again waited for a further 40 mins whilst the room was cleaned.
I can honestly and most regretfully refer to our stay at this hotel and the staff as being woefully deplorable. I deliberatlely delayed this review due to my dissatisfaction with this hotel, which is still very fresh and pains me to speak of. But I write sincerely only to deter any more potential guests to gravely reconsider staying at this regrettably dire hotel.
