Arriving by car :
Depending on the time of the day you are arriving, you have many options on how to reach the hotel. E.g. during rush hours, it may be quicker to cross Paris to avoid the heavy traffic on the ring road.

You can park your car at a preferential rate in parking “Gare de l’Est” which faces the hotel on Place du 11 Novembre in 75010 Paris (distance : 100 m).

By train :
The “SNCF” French railway offers many national and international, daily connections to 5 different Parisian railway stations.

Saint Lazare train station is about 2,5 km by taxi from the hotel away.
By subway : take line no. 3 at the Saint Lazare station in the direction of Gallieni (Parc de Bagnolet). At the “Opéra” stop, change for line no. 7 in the direction of La Courneuve and get off at the “Gare-de-l’Est (Verdun)” stop (about a 15-minute journey).

Gare de Lyon train station is about 4,3 km by taxi from the hotel away.
By subway : take line no. 1 at the Gare de Lyon station in the direction of La Défense (Grande-Arche). At the “Bastille” stop, change for line no. 5 in the direction of Bobigny and get off at the “Gare-de-l’Est (Verdun)” stop (about a 15-minute journey).

Montparnasse train station is about 5,6 km by taxi from the hotel away.
By subway : take line no. 4 at the Montparnasse-Bienvenue station in the direction of Porte-de-Clignancourt and get off at the “Gare-de-l’Est (Verdun)” stop (about a 20-minute journey).

From Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle airport :

Take the RER B at the airport (the RER is the Paris metropolitan and regional rail system) in the direction of Robinson / Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse. Get off at the “Gare-du-Nord” stop where you will take subway line no. 5 in the direction of Place-d’Italie. Get off at the “Gare-de-l’Est (Verdun)” stop (about a 45-minute journey).

From Orly airport which is about 25 km from the hotel away by taxi :
Either at the “Orly-Sud” or the “Orly-Ouest” stop, take subway Orly-Val in the direction of Anthony where you will change to the RER B (the RER is the Paris metropolitan and regional rail system) in the direction of Aéroport Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle. Get off at the “Gare-du-Nord” stop where you will take subway line no. 5 in the direction of Place-d’Italie. Get off at the “Gare-de-l’Est (Verdun)” stop (about a 40-minute journey).

Convenient location directly across the street from Gare de L'Est you are traveling by train, a short walk from Gare du Nord and just enough room to squeeze round the double bed.

Great location opposite metro/station and being near buses. Good value for mony and fine old Parisian building. There's a convenient store right next door and actually better than some drinks you can buy on the street. There are lots of cheap Indian/Pakistani restaurants nearby and nice smiling people at the front desk.

Towels are small, the internet connection is not consistent.
