My boyfriend surprised me with a trip to Paris for a weekend and he couldn't have chosen a better hotel! Our room was on the 5th (top) floor and was very clean and spacious with a good size, very comfortable bed. There were tea and coffee making facilities, safe, mini bar and a tv in the room also. Our bathroom was spotless and large with a bath and shower. The hotel's location was perfect, just around the corner from the Louvre and Place de la Concorde and the Opera. There are 2 metro stations nearby also. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel, at 16.50 pp it was expensive for what you get, but there are plenty of cafes nearby for croissants and pain au chocolat! I'd strongly recommend this hotel, but shop around on websites for the best price before booking.

First impressions of the hotel as you walked through the door were promising. The staff were efficient and soon had us up to our room. Now that is where the problem was....the room! We couldn't believe you could make a bedroom out of such a small space. The carpet was filthy, the radiator was stuck at HOT and the bathroom, although clean, was the size of a wadrobe.....and not a walk-in wardrobe either! The gap around the door to the hall was so big we didn't need a reading light! And the noise from the staff every morning from 6.30am was atrocious. Maybe we were just unlucky. The location made our stay bareable.

The first night they put us up in a standard room which was the size of a bed plus some little walking space around it. The fans from the aircon could be heard all night. Then they discovered they had given us the wrong room and put us into a much larger room with more comfort, which they called a superior room. It was good hotel standard. Facing the road it was a little noisy during the day but ok during the night. The service is ok but nothing to write home about. The location of the hotel is the redeeming feature. Walking distance to the Louvre, Madeleine cathedral, Les Halles, Opera, St Honore, Rue Rivoli, Tuilleries, etc. etc. Metro station close by (they were on strike again when we were there, no trains anywhere). We did not try the breakfast. 17 Euros for a croissant and a coffee is something I can't get used to easily. But then the cafe's in the area charge nearly that as well. There are plenty of hotels in the area. Look around.

It was clean, had a nice smell and located in a very convinient location. It very close to Madelein and near a metro station and a hop on-hop off tourist bus stop. The breakfast was ok.The room was very small and the floor was steap. The bathroom was fylly renovated and is good. The toilet is in seperate room.We didnt have a view and there isnt aircondition but is cool.
