Mon Hotel - Paris, France

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights at the end of September. It really is a 'little gem' in the middle of a wonderful city. The location is very good - 2 mins from the Arc de Triomphe and the nearest Metro. The rooms have been refurbished to a very high standard - all whites and creams with flat screeen TVs and IPod stations. Only limitation is that the bar/lounge area is still under refurbishment and they didn't say when it would be finished. However, this isn't a problem as there are plenty of eating places/bars near-by. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. They recommended having dinner at the Cafe de l'Homme (located inside Musee de l'Homme) on Trocadero.The location is fantastic. We ate dinner sat outside overlooking the Eiffel Tower. A perfect end to a fantastic w/e break!

I come to Paris regularly and recently discovered this little place. It's just behind the Arc de Triomphe and there are plenty of good restaurants and the shopping on the Champs Elysees nearby. It feels very stylish throughout from the chic lobby with large pop art and ambient music through to the recently refurbished rooms. The rooms have a modern designer feel and all the ones I've stayed in have been similarly finished to a high standard. They have a flat screen TV with satellite TV. The fifth floor rooms have small balconies. The staff are very friendly. Although there isn't a restaurant attached, they can bring you breakfast in your room. Great Occitane toiletries and comfy beds. A nice touch is the very cool ipod dock/ alarm clock. The bathroom shower fittings tend aren't the best tho.

The room was great. very modern, and obviously recently renovated, although the lobby and halls looked a bit like a 60's disco with red paint and black carpet!! We were a bit worried about how the room would look, but it was VERY tasteful and modern. Staff friendly, and speak english in varying degrees. free wifi. Bed was extremely comfortable. Bath products are LÓccitaine, which are very good quality. the ONLY issue i had, was the shower nozzle was not as good as others i've used, but there is a bath, (and they provide bathbombs) so relaxing after a long day of sightseeing is easy!! Nice quiet location is excellent with 'Argentine' metro stop a few metres away and a car park also very close. Very close to Arc de Triomphe and we would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone.
