I chose the Le Claridge for a one night stay with 10 girlfriends for a celebration. We had two apartments which were very well appointed and perfect for our occasion. The location of the Le Claridge could not be better. It is also difficult to find self-catered apartments of this quality in Paris that will allow a one night stay. The staff were amazing. I requested some food and wine to be purchased and put in the room for when we arrived. The staff exceeded the request, by ordering the goods and arranging everything we needed in the room, with ice buckets and glasses! It was fabulous to arrive to such a welcome. I would thoroughly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a high class, self catered apartment in Paris.

Beware of theft in hotel

I chose Le Claridge because of the glowing reviews here at Trip Advisor. Much of what others had found, we also experienced...the location was central, the rooms and the hotel as a whole were clean and quiet, and the desk staff were pleasant enough. The shock of our trip was that money was stolen from our room when we were out. This is four-star hotel whose web page promotes its attention to security...round-the-clock doorman, electronic passes for the lift and all rooms, even video surveillance throughout the hotel. Heaven knows how someone was able to bypass all that and enter our room, rifle through our luggage, and depart undetected. Unfortunately, to add insult to injury, the management offered nothing more than condolences and only belatedly informed us that there was a room safe. Overall, their response was more frustrating than helpful. If I want to stay in suite-style accommodation in Paris again, I will pursue other options. This is not what one should expect from a four-star hotel at $400 Cdn a night.

Je viens de passer un week-end des plus fabuleux à Paris – une surprise que m’avait réservée mon ami pour mon anniversaire. Le Claridge mérite tout à fait ses quatre étoiles, car l’emplacement et le service sont sans pareil. Quand on est arrivés à l’hôtel, le portier (Shymon) a été des plus prévenants. Il a emmené nos sacs jusqu’à la réception, puis attendu patiemment que notre enregistrment soit terminé. Ensuite, Shymon nous a montré notre appartement et les chambres et expliqué tout ce qu’il fallait savoir. Il nous a même indiqué le supermarché du coin (car il n’y a pas de service en chambre) et un bon restaurant pour aller dîner. On n’a pas pris le petit déjeuner au restaurant de l’hôtel, car on avait acheté des provisions au supermarché et on a utilisé les appareils de la cuisine de notre appartement, qui fonctionnaient très bien. Le service du ménage était fantastique également – le premier jour, on s’est réveillés tard et on a manqué le nettoyage de notre chambre. Mais en rentrant à l’hôtel, tard le soir, on a trouvé l’appartement tout propre et bien rangé. Tous les jours, la femme de ménage lavait nos couverts et laissait chaque pièce propre et étincelante. On a été aussi très surpris de trouver des chocolats dans la chambre, offerts par l’hôtel ! Malheureusement, comme notre appartement n’était pas situé sur le devant de l’hôtel, on n’a pas pu profiter de la vue spectaculaire sur les Champs-Elysées. Mais notre chambre donnait sur une cour très jolie et c’était exceptionnellement calme. Le lit était super confortable et j’ai super dormi bien toutes les nuits. En résumé, le Claridge, c’est magnifique ! Mon anniversaire a été vraiment inoubliable, et encore plus exceptionnel, grâce au Claridge et à son personnel. Merci.
