5My girlfriend and I came to Paris for 3 days on her birthday and we stayed here after finding a very reasonable price online. The hotel itself is ideally located, with just 2 right turns to get you to the nearest Metro entrance and from there, more or less anywhere in Paris).
The room is smallish, dominated by the bed which probably takes up ~50% of the floorspace in the main room, but is very comfortable. Closet space is something of a premium as well, as there is one closet (ours had 4 hangers). The room itself was perfectly clean, as was the (surprisingly spacious) bathroom. We didn't make much use of the kitchen facilities aside from the fridge, but they provide you with pots, pans, and other miscellanea for more people than you could probably fit in the room.
Overall, the room is fine. The internet they offer works perfectly and is fast enough to use Skype or other bandwidth-heavy applications without much trouble, and although the rooms aren't huge, they're clean and functional. Realistically, if you're coming to Paris to spend time in you're room, this isn't your place. Everyone else should be right at home.
Room noise wasn't an issue (we requested a room near the interior courtyard on a high floor, so we didn't hear anything from the street), but you'll occasionally hear other people out in the halls at odd hours.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention what really made me give this place a 5 (star? dot? whatever unit they're using) rating. The front desk. The people here deserve a medal, or several of them. They spoke impeccable English (which was good, as I parle at best 3rd grade French) and seemed willing to do just about anything to help out. I went down to the front desk to ask for advice about where to get a pizza and they offered to just call up Pizza Hut and deliver one since it was late and many of the places around here were closing. I know that's not exactly an epic feat, but they were friendly, nice, and helpful - which is more than I expect out of hotel staff here in the States.
Other useful info for the area: The two larger grocery shops around are Supermarche G20 and the slightly further away Monoprix, for some of your needs. A lot of stuff, if you just need drinks or snacks, can be found in nearer corner shoppes which, much like their London counterparts, have a bit of everything including fresh fruit and produce which are NOT found in the Supermarche, apparently.
