L'hotel - Paris, France 

Poor service: I had problems after reservation (they insisted I had made it for some other date), with hot water and the cleanliness of the bathroom. In addition, the dinning room staff is uppity and impolite. All in all the hotel is run down.

We reserved one room with the balcony but after reconfirmation we found out that we were in another one, without the balcony. After the earlier confirmation had been e-mailed to them, we were upgraded to the room at the top floor.

The hotel was very disappointing to me. The room we stayed in was small and stuffy, all the things in the hotel looked like as they’d had some better days. No breakfast included, no minibar in my room, rude and arrogant staff. The hotel is not worth the money they ask for staying there.

The temperature of the water in the pool is frigid. The front desk did not provide accurate information about the location of the Eiffel Tower.

There were few things not really in good shape; swimming pool was too cold, no exhaustive info at the desks about the events going on, shower curtains should be looked after in a better way – there were stains on them.
