I chose this hotel based on recommendations here on TripAdvisor, and originally I was thinking about choosing a totally different hotel. Anyway, I thought that because the price, location and all TripAdvisor reviews were very positive, I'll give it a try, and I was very happy! I have lived some time in Paris, so the city itself wasn't new, but I've never before stayed in a hotel so I didn't quite know what to expect. The location is excellent, as everyone has mentioned and the hotel was very nice. Immediately when we entered the lobby we were greeted by friendly staff and they also introduced themselves to us. Our reservation was found immediately and we got our room. It was on 5th floor (the elevator goes to 4th so one has to take the stairs to get to this floor) and it wasn't very big, but very nice. The bathroom was tidy, nice, and clean, and the shower worked well. The room wasn't anything "luxurious" but very neat, the bed was ok, and tv quite new and with lot of channels, also the windows were facing the street so in the evening we could hear the music and chatter from the corner caf?s, really nice! At first we thought that the air-condition didn't work so it was REALLY hot in the room but we put it on to it's coldest position and when we returned back to our room in the evening it was ok, so no complaints. :) Only minus would be the breakfast, because at this time they didn't have any extras available (no eggs for instance) but this wasn't such a big minus as we got fresh baguette, croissants, jams, orange juice, coffee/tea, yogurt etc so that was fine. Also the breakfast room was nicely decorated and clean and the staff is just excellent, very friendly! I wouldn't recommend this hotel to a person who have difficulties in moving (who needs for instance a wheelchair) as the elevator was quite small and the stairs very typical Parisienne; narrow and the staircase is quite small, but otherwise I can really recommend this to everyone who is looking for a nice hotel in Paris - i think this was really price-quality-wise an excellent choise and definitely worth its 3* The staff is great and they can really create a family atmosphere in the house!:)

This hotel is less than 5 mins. to the subway station which is wonderful in Paris. You can definitly walk to Musee D'Orsay, Louvre and Notre Dame from the hotel. We didn't get the breakfast that's an added cost, instead we had a coffee and croissant and the cafe nearby. Hotel was very quiet at night and was enough room for 2 people. It's not a 5 star hotel, but you're not paying for one. There is an elevator, but very small. It did fit our bags though. Front desk staff were great...they speak english and were able to point us in any direction we wanted to go. We couldn't check in early, but they let us keep our bags there while we wandered the city. All in all we would recommend this hotel.
