5My daughter and I stayed at the Melia Royal Alma Hotel for three nights in May 2008. We found the hotel to be exceptionally clean, and the staff to be out-of-their-way kind and friendly. They were helpful in every way to make our stay a pleasant one. Yes, the rooms are on the small side. This is Paris. However, they are quiet, restful, and very well appointed. The bathroom was spotless, and all toiletries were offered. There was an abundance of towels. Breakfast was extraordinary for such a small hotel. A vast assortment of fruits, cereals, and pastries were available, as well as hot foods. Our waitress helped us with our elementary French, and we all had a good laugh. Water, infused with mint leaves, was available daily in the lobby. My daughter and I were glad to have such a pleasant room, and hotel atmosphere awaiting us at the end of a long day of sight-seeing. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again.
