Hotel Du Parc - Paris, France     

Petit hôtel d'une quarantaine de chambres situé à 2 pas de la gare Montparnasse mais à l'écart du secteur bruyant du quartier. Il est dans une rue adjacente juste en face d'un square et donc très calme. Accueil agréable, chambre standard et salle de bains entièrement renovées.

I had to be in paris at very short notice, and all my usual hotels were booked. I looked on the web and phoned the Hotel du Parc. The receptionist kindly adviced me to book on the webpage which I did. I found the price too high but I had no choice. The hotel was very much like those I usually go to when in Paris. I had asked about en internet connection and tyhe answer was positive. However when I arrives, the WIFI only functioned in the hall. This was disappointing. The rest was slightly better than the average I have experienced in Paris, but at a considerably higher cost. Perhaps the most remarkable positive aspect was the very good attention the staff gave me.
