After dropping off our luggage and having dinner we returned to our Junior Suite to find out that valuable personal belongings, phones, money were stolen. Neither staff nor management really cared and accused us that we forgot the things in the cab... we wanted to stay four nights in the Junior Suite but decided to leave the hotel asap after what has happened. We never experienced something like that before in a four star hotel. So we can't recommend this hotel at all.

This hotel is most notable for its design but the service at this property is also quite good. Upon arrival, I was offered a glass of champagne and a very personalized and relaxed check in at the hotel cafe / restaurant. Room service and other staff are quick and genuinely friendly. However, given the small number of people on staff there is the potential for slow downs when demand is high. Rooms are high on design. Styling is a mix of Japanese modern and contemporary European. Rooms are well equipped with technology -- free in-room wireless, wireless phone with direct dial line, i-pod docking station, and DVD player. Love the Kiehl's ammenities in the bathroom!
