I travel the world for business and I stayed 3 nights in the Champs Elysees Plaza for personal time and I simply loved it ! The combination of a charming atmosphere that almost makes you feel at home with the high standard of service was delightful. From management to room service, Champs Elysees Plaza provided superb hospitality. Just 5 minutes from the Champs Elysees "action" and boutiques, this quiet hotel was a peaceful harbor after the exciting pace from the streets of Paris. I particularly appreciated the room service... enjoying a late morning sleep in, I was always late to order breakfast and yet still managed to get it to my room with a warm smile and "Bonjour". The suite was impeccable and decorated with style. The bathroom was really large with both a waterfall shower and a jacuzzy tub, and the Hermes shampoo and body care were of such good taste ! Just like the Godiva chocolate letf in the suite on a daily basis... I would highly recommend anyone to stay there to enjoy the true Parisian lifestyle and taste.

Overall a great little boutique hotel but a couple of things let it down. One of the dressing gowns was dirty, our room was only turned down on one of the evenings, the hotel was a little tight on replenishing our toiletries (probably because they were hermes products), the room charged per teabag (!) which was not clear from the outset (there was also no milk to accompany the tea/coffee and they charged EUR4 for a jug of milk!). Lastly, the barman's understanding of english was quite limited and he had to refer to the receptionist.

We loved the hotel and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. I enjoyed the Godiva Chocolates every night on the pillow. The only thing that I can fault was the breakfast in the hotel. It seemed to be overpriced for the service that was delivered. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to enjoy a special time in Paris.

The lane the hotel is located in, is pretty seedy, with a hustler strip club almost next door. Our junior suite, while tastefully appointed, was too small and totally different from the representative photograph on the website. All in all, not a bad hotel, but am sure for the 400 euros we paid, there are better options in Paris.
