Chose this hotel after reading the many positives reviews. I wasn't disappointed. Great location, within one block of RER Train & Metro stops (buy the Paris-Visite pass for fast/easy access to both train & metros) and in the heart of St Germain des Pres which is a fun, exciting and fabulous neighborhood! The hotel lobby is bright and contemporary--and X at the front desk is a doll. We booked a Studio. Small, yes, but typical by European standards. I found the pull-out bed to be very comfortable and the kitchen/bathroom roomy and very clean. We had the best view of the Seine river and we were only a 5 min. walk to Notre Dame, the Lourve, D'Orsay Museum, St Germain des Pres Church and tons and tons of cafes that lined the streets of the Seine and neighborhood of St Germain. I loved Rue di Buci which is right around the corner--definitely a lively, happening place. My own recommendation would be to pack a few extra towels and some toilet paper. They don't supply enough. Also, there's no outlets in the bathroom except for your electric razor. All rooms come with a hair dryer, but the cord is so short that it hardly reaches to the front of the mirror. Bring extra converter plugs because ladies, if you're anything like me, you'll need to plug in your curling iron/hot rollers somewhere else in the room. So bring along another mirror to look into! I would definitely stay at this apt/hotel again. I paid $/nite for the week of Sept 6th-11th, 2008. Safe travels!

From our window you could see the Seine. If you don't want to eat out, the kitchenette is brilliant for cooking a meal with ingredients purchased at the nearby supermarket or specialty food stores. Quiet, clean and with friendly staff. Great Stay.

We recently returned from a week stay at this fine property and only want to add a couple of points to the previous reviews.
Everyone raves about the location, and they're absolutely right. We love the Left Bank, but have also stayed in other areas of Paris. The only thing to surprise me about the location was that the rear-facing rooms (they call them the garden view I believe) were so quiet. We were there during the Rugby playoffs and Nuit Blanche and were pleased to be able to duck into silence after leaving the ruckus on the nearby streets.
People who complain about the service here have simply not grasped the concept: it's called "apart-hotel," and does straddle the line. We enjoyed having the kitchenette (very small, but more-than-adequately equipped) and opted to clean up after ourselves for the week. Minor requests were handled quickly by the staff and we required no additional services
As I use a 3-wheeled scooter for mobility, accessibility is always a paramount concern in my travels. Frequently hotels will bill themselves as accessible without noting (or perhaps even realizing) that just one or two small steps at the entrance will keep me out. This hotel has only a 1-inch lip at the entrance and is completely flat thereafter (at least all the parts I saw). We had a standard studio; I do not know if they have "handicapped accessible" rooms.
Finally, there are now 3 computers with free internet access in the lobby. This was a big plus for us.
