3Service: 4Value: 4We finally managed to get from a manager a large, spacious and light room, well-decorated and with a clean bathroom.
Not all the rooms in the hotel are nice. The first two we were offered were dirty, oppressive and very uncomfortable. Only rooms with numbers ending in zero were ok.

2.5Service: 4Value: 3The rooms were smallish, but bearable and I can’t complain about beds at all. May be I just was lucky. There was a TV in the room and towels were spotlessly clean. The hotel is in great location.
Of course it is not the best hotel in the world with some minor faults, but not the worst one either.

1.8Service: 2Value: 2The staff were friendly and willing to help, the breakfast was surprisingly good if compared to other Parisian hotels. The location is good and quiet for a nice night sleep.
There was a tiny elevator in the hotel. A small room with worn out towels and sheets looked not very nice.

3.5Service: 5Value: 5The reception and lounge zones were decorated very tastefully, the room was basic but comfortable and clean. There was a small balcony in the room. The bathroom was very good. Nice breakfast area and very handy location – close to the metro. In general the staff were very nice
There were two single beds pushed together instead of a double, and one of them was harder than another. No tea or coffee making facilities.

The Pavillon de Paris is a small, but very stylish boutique hotel, conveniently located near the Place de Clichy metro in Paris and Montmatre. It's chic, without being pretentious, and the staff are considerate, helpful and attentive, and made us feel extremely welcome without being overbearing.
The rooms are small, but simply and effortlessly decorated and the beds are unbelievably comfty, especially after a full day walking round the sites of Paris! And there is a well stocked mini bar with various drinks and snacks.
If there's nothing in the mini bar that grabs you, the bar area, just off the lobby, is a great place to unwind, with a gorgeous cocktail, of which we sampled a couple!
I would recommend contacting the hotel directly to secure the best rates (we managed to get a rate of 170 euros per night which was quite a bit cheaper) as it is quite pricey but worth it. I have stayed in quite a lot of beautiful hotels, so I am quite particular, but the Pavillon de Paris is definitely somewhere I will return to.
