Central Hotel Paris - Paris, France     

We spent 9 nights at Hotel Central. The room was very spacious. It was also quite clean. The staff was very helpful. The room was cleaned and sheets changed daily. The room was very quiet. The location excellent. We were very pleased. I would strongly recommend it.

The Central is a very reasonably priced two star hotel, so we didn't expect a lot of luxury. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room and the rather spacious (compared to other hotels of the same price category) bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Our view from the window was charming and had a very southern feel: a little square with children playing and a few men playing jeux the boules. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was basic, but everything tasted good and was fresh. As for the location: excellent! Very close to the subway (although we were lucky enough to have the best weather you can dream of, so we walked most of the time), and close to nice and affordable restaurants and bars. One minus: at weekend nights it can be quite noisy, because just around the corner is a street with a lot of night bars and theatres. But fortunately I never travel without my secret for a good night sleep: my ear plugs. :-) My conclusion: definitely good value for money.
