This hotel was not as stated. They would not turn on the air even though it was in the 80"s . The staff was not helpful and the phones didn't work. They made me go to a pay phone to call my family because thet wouldn't let me use the lobby phone. Find a different place to stay. Oh yeh, there is a cat house next door.

The hotel was OK, but... Why is it that a 3 star hotel cannot oil the hinges of their doors? 1) Go to the store. 2) Buy a spray can of lubricant. 3) And fix your *extremely* loud doors. It's not difficult.

Just three short blocks from the Pyramides/Louvre Mall Entrance, two blocks to metro stops Pyramides or Palais Royale, just off Rue D'Opera, Hotel Pavillon Louve Rivoli was everything we were looking for to enhance and enrich our first Paris experience. The room was small, but not unlike those in every other major european city center. Extremely clean, quiet and so very convenient to everything, we were able to return each evening from a hectic day of siteseeing, take a short rest and return to the many nearby cafes and restaurants for late dinner. The staff all spoke excellent english and were helpful with suggestions and directions. We did not opt for the daily breakfast (9euro), but enjoyed the Patisserie just across the street and picked up sandwiches/picnic to go at another shop right there as well. The Paris-L'Open Bus Tour has a stop on Rue D'Opera right at Rue Moliere 1/2 block from the hotel door. We would return in a heartbeat.

small, spotlessly clean, charming hotel

This hotel is small but spotlessly clean and staff are lovely. Great position, not far from Rue de Rivoli with it's eclectic mixture of shops. Not far from Tuilleries Gardens, the magnificent Louvre and the Musee de l'orangerie, which houses Monet's beautiful series of waterlilly landscapes. Lots of good but inexpensive brassieries nearby.Really could not find any faults with this hotel which was a real bargain, with eurostar bargain fare as well. Would recommend it to anyone, and am looking forward to returning
