0Just three short blocks from the Pyramides/Louvre Mall Entrance, two blocks to metro stops Pyramides or Palais Royale, just off Rue D'Opera, Hotel Pavillon Louve Rivoli was everything we were looking for to enhance and enrich our first Paris experience. The room was small, but not unlike those in every other major european city center. Extremely clean, quiet and so very convenient to everything, we were able to return each evening from a hectic day of siteseeing, take a short rest and return to the many nearby cafes and restaurants for late dinner. The staff all spoke excellent english and were helpful with suggestions and directions. We did not opt for the daily breakfast (9euro), but enjoyed the Patisserie just across the street and picked up sandwiches/picnic to go at another shop right there as well. The Paris-L'Open Bus Tour has a stop on Rue D'Opera right at Rue Moliere 1/2 block from the hotel door. We would return in a heartbeat.
