Booked at the very last minute so expectations were not high but we were pleased when we arrived. Small boutique type hotel, room was very tight but bathroom was very spacious, from what I can gather all sizes of rooms are quite different. The bed was very comfy. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I would definately stay there again but would perhaps ask for a larger room even if the bathroom were smaller. The location is good as you can walk from Gare du Nord, the hotel itself is located conveniently between the Cadet and Grand Boulevards metro stops as well as a walkable distance to Montmatre if you don't mind hills.

I can accept that rooms in the center of Paris are small, but we could barely open the door of our room, because the bed was in the way... The heating in the room was not working (it was freezing outside), but we managed to keep warm thanks to the heating of the bathroom. All but one lights in the bathroom were broken, taps are coming loose. Fortunately the receptionists were really nice and the location was perfect (Velib station across the street).

The hotel isn?t bad. Maybe the best thing is the location, near the Opera and some Metro stations. It is in an animated nightlife zone. There are many caf?s, restaurants and clubs, useful because the hotel hasn't these services. The staff were efficient and polite, but not all of them speak English, or Spanish. The room and the bathroom were clean all the days, but they were too small. The breakfast wasn?t anything special. Good price for a 3-star hotel in Opera. I?d recommended it to tourists who like visit the city all the day and they only use the hotel to sleep and rest.

A bit noisy on street side. I never saw anyone using the bar but there are great local places to have a drink nearby. Breakfast is over priced, purchase breakfast at any nearby cafe for half the price. All else was great, clean, easy to get around.
